Yesterday at the plaza we rented some video Cd's (movies) to watch.I gave Archie the opportunity to choose whatever movie he wanted, and of course me too. While searching for new arrivals a poster caught my attention and it says; "How fast can you swim?"
I really cant swim, it's one of my greatest fears. Now going back to my story, I thought Archie would not rent that movie (Rogue, welcome to the territory! How fast can you swim?). I wanted to rent the movie BRATS, I already watch the movie during our overnight at the house of a friend (Hi Jumar!) but I wasn't able to finish. Since we wont be able to finish 3 movies at the same time I just rented the movie "ENCHANTED" for my nephew.
At home after eating and watching news we immediately played the movie that Archie has chosen. The movie was about saltwater crocodiles, Pete who was an American travel writer reporting on the booming of the tourist industry in the Northern Territory was in a cruise, he finds himself stuck with a collection of characters, including Kate -the beautiful local tour guide. There is an immediate attraction between the two, but when their boat was rammed by something from below, the tour was thrown into disarray and they become stranded on a tiny mud island.
As night falls and the tide starts to rise, the group slowly realize they are being stalked by a huge (really huge) saltwater crocodile. At the beginning of the movie I was not at ease, I really hate suspense movies (I also hate animals that can kill!) but Archie gave me no choice. At the climax of the story I kept on screaming, I kept on saying Bakit kasi sila pumunta dyan? (Why did they go there?). This movie took my breath away, my mom was all eyes on the TV screen and Archie too... I was really terrified and kept on hiding my face every time they were attacked by the huge crocodile. Well thumbs up to the people behind this movie, great job!
Better watch it... haahaa!
